We believe that family is is the most essential part of society. This means broken families make broken societies and strong families make strong societies.
People that did not grow up in a stable and healthy family, are left with a large void in their hearts, and are left to figure out life on their own, which can leave them vulnerable to the evil of the world around them. The void in their heart and really every person’s heart that needs to be filled, can only be satisfied with true love, who is Jesus, the One God the Father gave to everyone to save them from their pain, weaknesses, and sin. He is alive, living for every person now and forever.
Our ultimate mission at Oasislife Farm is to build up families so that they can thrive together. We want to create an atmosphere where there is love, peace, and joy. We want families to be strong and healthy, walking in the fullness of what God has for them, which they will then carry out into the world around them.
In this program, families will learn healthy family structure, and how to work together to have the fullness of life.
They will accomplish this by:
- Individuals will receive healing from pain and struggles in their lives and learn how to live in a life giving relationship with Jesus Christ. Without this, they cannot be healthy for their family or their communities.
- Individuals and families will learn the principles of love.
- Families will learn how to live in a Jesus culture: prayer, worship, Bible study, communication, etc.
- Parents will learn how to teach their children and lead them into God’s purpose for their lives.
- Parents will learn how to effectivly discipline their children and give them what the need.
- Children will learn respect for their parents and all family members.
- Families will learn the basics of life: eating, drinking, cooking, cleaning, rest, work, play, etc., and giving it to others.
Families will go through classes and training, and work together on the farm to grow and develope.
