At Oasislife Farm, we believe love is the way of life. Love is what sustains us, and empowers us to be free and live for others. Love is alive and it gives life to all.
Our focus is to help people live lives of freedom. We love helping families heal, develope, and thrive with each other and therefore strengthen the world around them. We want to help people find their purpose in life and be a force of good for the world around them.
Oasislife Farm was established in 2023, however farming has been in our family for hundreds of years. No matter how long we have been farming, we are determined to learn more everyday and never stop growing. We will never be experts, but we hope people find that we are people that will give them our best.
Although we are not certified non-gmo or organic, we do apply non-gmo and organic practices. We do not raise our animals like they are the majority of the time raised commercially: overcrowded, always confined in bad living conditions, highy stressed, given antibiotics to stay alive, are not able to enjoy their lives, etc. Our animals are humanely raised and free to forage and play on pasture. We do our best to give our animals the best life they can have. We want to keep our animals as healthy and happy as possible for themselves and you.
What is Oasis Life? Oasis is another word for a fertile place in the desert where water is found, and a place of rest. This place of rest is mentioned many times in the Bible. In the New Testament of the Bible, oasis is the word used for this rest in the ancient Aramaic writing. God (Yahweh) wanted mankind to dwell with Him in this rest (a life perfect and beautiful and filled with His love). Man sinned and was separated from God and evil began to fill the earth (Genesis 1-3). Since that time, God has invited man into that rest life with Him that He intended. God so loved the world that He provided a way for man to be free of sin and be reconciled back to Him as His sons and daughters and that no person would perish forever because of sin, but have eternal life in His love forever (John 3:1-21). God did not do to man according to what we deserved because of our sin (for every person has sinned and falls short of the Glory of God: Romans 3:23) but instead God, who is holy and perfect, took on flesh as a man who is Jesus Christ, in order to know our striving with sin and our pain and suffering (2 Corinthians 5:18-19). God in the form of His Son Jesus Christ died in exchange for us, that all that receive Him would be saved (John 1:1-18), Jesus fulfilled the rest that God always wanted with mankind (Hebrews 4, Matthew11:25-30). Those who believe this and put their trust in Jesus for salvation from sin will be forgiven of their sin and have a new life with God the Father as His beloved child forever. Now because God loves us like this, by abiding in Him, we can love others (John 15, John 3:16-21, 1 John 3-4).
Is that a crazy thing to believe or what? Would God really do that? Does it seem like nonsense that no man is righteous before God in His own strength? Of coarse there are people that do good things, do they get punished for sin too?
What is true goodness anyway, what is true love? What is true righteousness and Holiness? What is the standard? What is God’s standard and how do we know it? Will any person’s works ever attonefor their sin? Will any person’s good works meet God’s standard of righteousness? How can any person know that they will not be punished for sin after this life? What happens after we die?
I didn’t really think anout all of this until I grew up and had sins of my own, my good works could not make up for what I had done, nor could they give me peace or satisfaction. I could not relieve my conscience of guilt. I turned to Jesus and I was saved. I encountered Jesus and my life was changed forever. Because Jesus saved me when I called on Him for mercy, and many other reasons, I know this Gospel is true.
Jesus is our oasis rest from the desert of sin and the weariness of trying to find satisfaction. He leads us into life in fullness with the Father and life more abundantly (Matthew 11:25-30, John 10:10)
This is true love, this is oasis life.
